Curse of the Foul Thirst - Round One

Table One
Players - In Order of Play
- Bela (Tremere Bruise and Bleed)
- Steve (Malk '94)
- Steve (Malk Anti Bleed)
- Chris (Rock Cat)

Summary (Compliments of Chris)
First minion to get the Foul Thirst was Dan's The Colonel. He'd been to torpor after a Rock Cat had torn his arm off. After coming out of torpor he was a bit hungry, and went hunting. This is when the Foul Thirst first struck.

Chris's Tremere then thought that was kind of bad. Things get a bit hazy but I think they sent in a Rock Cat to get Dolphin Black, but The Colonel jumped in the way. A small tussle ensued, resulting in the The Colonel going back to torpor.

The old-school Malks, under Steve's careful direction, took the opportunity to remove Dan from the game. Nabbing him the first victory point, and a Purity Point.

Bela's Tremere were roughing up the Malks though, and one of the Malks ended up having to hunt. The Foul Thirst struck again.

In an attempt to oust Chris's Tremere before he loses too many minions, Steve sends in Mariel, Lady Thunder for a good old fashioned bleed for 6 at +2 stealth. Muaziz, being prepared for such an assault, used her freaky mind powers to Deflect the bleed to Bela. Bela's Tremere were caught off guard, and the bleed ate straight through Bela's remaining 5 pool. The second victory point of the game thus falling to Chris.

Then it was Steve and Chris head-to-head. Chris used his manipulatory skills as a Methuselah to bring Fame and mis-fortune to one of Steve's puny Malks. A Rock Cat then made short work of him. The three pool loss, followed by 1 more in the untap phase ensured Steve's ousting. And, as Steve had the Foul Thirst at the time, a Purity Point for Chris.

Table Two
Players - In Order of Play
- Jahn (Belarkas Baali)
- Mark (Giovanni)
- Mitch (The Regal)
- Andrew (Ravnos Vote)

Summary (Very Dodgy)
Jahn's first few turns were spent on transfers. Marks first few turns involved bleeding Mitch heavily, thanks to dominate, Mitch's first few turns were spent doing transfers (much like Jahn).

Jahn Bloated (this doesn't really change at any point in the game, apart from the occasional bleed), Mark went forward hard, Mitch went forward and bloated with voter cap. The Blood Trade event card went into play, which after some consultation with the event organiser Jahn used to give one of Marks minions blood, causing him to gain the Curse of the Foul Blood.

Mitch Ousted his prey and died soon after to Mark. Jahn eventually won out because he simply had to much pool for mark to get through. The only purity point in the game went to Jahn for ousting Mark while he had foul blood.
